My blogging has been a little subdued lately, so I wanted to bring it back with a much loved book tag! My lovely friend Jess at ReadingWithJessica tagged me for this one, thanks Jess! Her blog is one of my favourite’s so check it out guys!

Lego! ✌

Q1: You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?
I am very much a mood reader. I’ll see what genre I’m in the mood for and browse through my TBR. This is why I get into so many book slumps!

Q2: You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?
I absolutely hate having to DNF a book, but if I’m honestly not enjoying myself then I will. I’d rather spend my time reading something I enjoy that suffering through a bad book!

Q3: The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try and catch up and how?
Um honestly no, I only set my goal to 40 for this year and I’m about 3 away. I’m happy with myself but If I didn’t finish it then that’s life, I won’t beat myself up about it.

Q4: The covers of a series do. not. match. How do you cope?
I do like my book covers to match and it drives me a bit crazy if they change it half way through a series! But I will honestly cope fine, it is what it is.

Q5: Everyone and their mother loves a book you don’t really like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?
I would most likely find someone in my blogging group or over Twitter to slay it with! If not then I’ll just scream to myself in my head, as you do! ツ

Q6: You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?
I don’t really read much in public so I don’t have this problem. If I did then I’d put the book away and blubber silently into my pillow later.

Q7:  A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?!?!?!?
I will 1000% re-read the first book and refresh my memory! I can’t go reading the sequel and have no idea what’s going on, that would be ridiculous!

Q8: You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?
Just nope, nope with the NOPE! You ain’t having it, simple!

Q9: Reading ADD. You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?
God I have this problem SO MUCH! Like right now, I need to read some review books and Netgalley arcs, but I just don’t fancy it. I’m going to try re-reading one of my much loved books to see if it sucks me out of the slump!

Q10:  There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?
This is a bookworms nightmare! There have been so many great books released this year and I haven’t had the money to buy half of them. I’ve recently renewed my library card so I’ll be eagerly awaiting for them to be in stock!

Q11: After you’ve bought the books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?
Um – next question?! I’m very guilty of buying books that I NEED and then watching them sit there, waiting, wanting to be read. I read them eventually! PLEASE DON’T HATE ME BOOKS, I LOVE YOU!!!

This tag was so much fun – I hope you enjoyed learning about my reading problems! If you want to join in, then feel free to do the tag and ping back to let me know what your answers are! ❣
