HE WASN’T HERS TO LOVE … BUT HER HEART DOESN’T CARE…

When Isla Evans agrees to switch lives with her rising star of a twin for three weeks, she has no idea the move will thrust her into the same bed as her teenage celebrity heartthrob, Bradley King. Trapped there at her sister’s request, she gives her desire free reign and finds herself falling hard and fast.

And she’s not alone.

Bradley wants a wife to tick all the boxes, save for one: love. It’s not part of the deal, never was, never will be. But when he returns home early to find his hopeful-fiancée behaving all sorts of different, he likes it. A lot. Suddenly, he wants a real marriage, with all the trimmings, and he will stop at nothing until he gets it.

But this Hollywood HEA faces one big hurdle—she’s not who he thinks she is…

A romantic and fast paced book, full of steamy scenes and passionate kisses.

My Thoughts

I don’t often review these types of books. They usually stay deep within my closet of e-books. My reason is because people don’t tend to like them ..or claim not to at least, and they judge harshly. But haters be damned, this book was pretty darn great!

I was thrown straight into the deep end and I gotta say, I didn’t hate it! Isla was honestly so comical with her reaction to Bradley and it definitely made me chuckle right off the bat. She handled it pretty well considering – there was only a slight lapse of sanity here and there. Isla’s character made me take an instant liking to the story and definitely kept me flicking page after page.

Bradley seemed like the typical ‘hot hunk’ at first, rather detached from feelings and looking for that quick fix. His relationship goals were less than ideal, but his true emotions slowly reached the surface and a softer side was apparent. His big brother roll was really sweet to see and left those warm and fuzzy’s.

There are some deeper issues dealt with in the book, such as addiction and feelings of rejection, but it’s only minor and doesn’t take away the tone of the story, it only adds to the character’s back stories and made the story feel believable.

The story is definitely hot and heavy throughout, with steamy scenes around every other corner. A welcome presence for this type of book!

It was a fast paced and quick read, and very enjoyable!
