Monthly Wrap Up – August 2018

How I Choose My Books.jpg

Hey guys!

August was a busy month for me, as it usually is. My son turned eight and I honestly don’t know how that happened, I’m still 18 right?! And we had the usual uniform and school shoes fittings – fun. I’ve been plotting a new and exciting project which has taken up a lot of my time, all will be revealed soon.

I managed a not too shabby seven books this month and considering the staggered amount of reading time I got, that’s really bloody good!

  1. Ooooh! You reread Wormwood!!! Sweet! That makes me so incredibly overjoyed!!! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the second round and if you noticed some things that may not have been as obvious the first time. I also hope it wasn’t so heart-wrenching this time, now that you know what to expect! By the way, I just started Renegades and I can’t wait to share some thoughts with you. 🙂

    1. I did! I was just browsing my ebooks and felt the urge – Tiamat was definitely very obviously strange from the offset this time around. Oh no it was STILL heart wrenching, you know the bit I’m talking about! I still need to clarify that part with you. YAAASSS share all the thoughts!! 😁

      1. Oh no! Hopefully your phone didn’t suffer any more damage (lol)! Yes, please clarify with me. You know I LOVE to talk about my book!!! Hee hee… I’ll message you over Twitter. As for Renegades, I find the premise very cool, and very much like the basic premise of the X-Men movies.. except that it looks at what the world would be like if the mutants/prodigies succeeded in the downfall of humans. I definitely like that! I haven’t read too much yet, but hope to dive in when I have some more time. I’ll keep you posted!! 🙂
